Prior to moving to Bend, we lived in San Luis Obispo County, California. I was born in Santa Maria, Santa Barbara County, California, and lived my whole life in Arroyo Grande, CA, until moving to Bend. I am a graduate of Cal Poly University, San Luis Obispo. I earned my degree in Horticulture and have a teaching credential in Vocational Agriculture.
From the late 70's to the middle 90's, I was a general building contractor, specializing in custom homes and later remodel work. During those years I built and owned residential units, which I owned and maintained. I am still involved with owning and managing my own residential income property.
I currently teach part time at the alternative high school, in the Bend-LaPine School District, where I have been for 9 years. The remainder of my time is spent locating investment properties for clients in Bend and the surrounding area. I have a special interest and undestanding of small acreage horse/hobby land parcels.
I have been participating as a broker with Hunter Properties in Bend for 2 1/2 years, but my association with the Principal Broker, Lawnae Hunter, goes back to my roots in California.
With my wife as assistant, Cris, we combine for over 65 years of experience in real estate investment, building knowledge and escrow/title work. Our backgournds allow us to help investors or first time buyers from the first look to the closing day.
We are excited about the quality of life here in Bend and Deschutes County. Whether you are looking for your first home or building onto your real estate portfolio, the opportunites here are very exciting.
I believe we can provide a unique combination of services to our clients, both buyers and sellers. We would welcome the opportunity to work with anyone seeking these same goals.
